HayMax is a 100% natural balm which works as a pollen barrier when applied to the bottom of the nose to help you fight hay fever. Nobody has reported drowsiness from using HayMax.
Each pot of Haymax contains 5ml/0.17 fl. oz of Hayfever soothing balm.
HayMax is made from a base of organic beeswax and seed oil, blended with essential oils, Aloe Vera leaf juice extracts or no added fragrance depending on the variety or varieties you choose.
We can offer three varieties of HayMax: soothing Aloe Vera, relaxing Lavender or fragrance-free Pure. HayMax Pure was voted BEST PRODUCT: ORGANIC by the Health Food Institute panel of judges at the Natural Trade Show in Brighton 2006, with no added fragrance. This version is great for people who don’t like essential oils, or who are particularly sensitive.
Only certified organic beeswax from Zambia and certified organic oils are used, and according to independent, qualified Aromatherapists, the essential oils (and other ingredients) are not harmful in the quantities used for HayMax
HayMax trials
The trial of HayMax™ was done in July, August and September of 2004. Pollen counts were regularly high during the trial. All respondents who had the opportunity to try HayMax™ during their allergic season reported that HayMax™ worked very effectively to combat their hayfever.
They were asked to rate it on a scale from 1 to 5:
5: Worked brilliantly. No sneezes, no irritation of eyes
4: Worked well. Occasional sneeze and/or eye irritation
3: Worked: Reduction in effects. But still get attacks of sneezing etc.
2: Hardly worked: Still experiencing most of the effects.
1: Didn't work: No help whatsoever. Just as horrible as ever
The average rating for HayMax™ was 3.9 to 4.0. All the respondents said Haymax worked for their hayfever and gave a mark of 3 or better. No-one experienced side effects.
The results of this study on HayMax were confirmed by a placebo-controlled study conducted at Moscow University. The study concluded:
"Haymax was significantly more effective than placebo and reduced the typical symptoms of allergic rhinitis (Hayfever) in response to nasal challenge with allergen by nearly 60% … The pollen blocker cream did not produce any adverse effects. Therefore, the efficacy of the investigational product can be rated as good”. |
